Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we are canceling Yerba Buena Night this year.

Yerba Buena Night is a free arts festival held in the heart of San Francisco's cultural district. Each year we host thousands of people to witness artists, singers, dancers, and performers to illustrate the diversity and artistic power of this glorious, defiant, and outspoken city. Want to join us? We can sure use some reliable, fun, and willing volunteers to help us make this year's festival one of the most fun places to be.

Join us! Email us and tell us how you want to help.

Where am I going?

You're going to Jessie Square! One of the most beautiful public spaces in San Francisco located on Mission Street between 3rd and 4th and across Mission Street from the Yerba Buena Gardens.

How do I get there?

Since this event is located in downtown San Francisco, you can take any number of public transporation lines that are conveniently located.

If you're taking MUNI, you can take the 5, 6, 7, 9, 14, 21, 38, 45, L, M, N, K, T, J, and F Lines.

If you're taking BART get off at Powell or Montgomery stops.

If you're driving, there are parking garages located at:

  • 5th and Mission

  • Hearst Parking Garage at 55 3rd Street (between Mission and Market on the right side)

  • SFMTA Moscone Garage located at 255 3rd Street (between Folsom and Howard on the right side)

What can I expect?

First, you can expect a great experience.

Second, the weather in San Francisco can vary from warm and balmy to bitter cold, especially over the course of a few hours, so bring layers.

Third, if you want to eat or drink, there are restaurants and bars that line Yerba Buena Lane, so please feel free to patronize any of them.

Finally, this is a free event, so you can keep your money tucked away!
